EAT IN THE BODEGA

In the Gran Cueva, the dining room with see-through glass walls becomes a peaceful, quiet place, ideal for enjoying the traditional dishes of La Riojasurrounded by a strange landscape of oak casks and stone walls.

As a tribute to Gonzalo de Berceo,the first poet in the Castilian tongue, we have inscribed on the high windows of our dining room the first  verses of this Riojan author who already spoke of the qualities of the wines of our district back in the 13th century:

“I seek to write a prose in the speech of the common man, which the people use to talk to their neighbours, as I am not learned enough to write another Latin rhyme, I think it will help to have a glass of good wine”
